Select all three curves. Click the "Loft" icon (it usually looks like a stretched grid). CurviLoft 18 will open a dialog box.
In SketchUp, go to Window > Extension Manager > Install Extension and select the downloaded files.
: This tool joins separate contours—whether open or closed—using smooth splines. It is ideal for creating "skins" across a series of cross-sections, allowing the user to adjust the mesh density and vertex matching in a dedicated preview mode before final generation. curviloft 18

is a game-changing script developed by legendary community creator Fredo6 , designed to solve one of Trimble SketchUp's biggest limitations: creating organic, curved, and non-planar surfaces. While SketchUp excels at hard-line geometry like walls, boxes, and roofs, modeling textiles, ergonomic furniture, flowing terrain, or complex architecture can feel impossible without external help. Select all three curves
The most common reason Curviloft fails or produces a twisted surface is because the profiles being connected have a drastically different number of segments. For example, a circle made of 24 segments lofted to a square made of 4 segments is a recipe for disaster. The plugin does not auto-subdivide. You must manually subdivide your square into 24 segments first. Generally, using the same number of segments (or a clean multiple) will give the best results.
Curviloft circumvents these limitations by acting as a highly sophisticated surface lofting and skinning engine. It fits smooth, continuous faces over separate, open, or closed 3D contours with real-time preview and manual edge-matching features. Installing Curviloft is straightforward, but requires attention to the dependency on LibFredo6. The plugin is hosted primarily on SketchUcation, not the official Extension Warehouse.
